Lisa started her scoliosis journey as a patient, being diagnosed at 14 years old. Due to poor management and treatment advice, Lisa now consequently lives with a severe scoliosis and has learned to cope with it through sheer perseverance and her drive for knowledge and understanding.
Lisa’s life mission is to make evidence-based management for scoliosis patients more accessible and make sure the quality of care at Perth Scoliosis Clinic is second to none. As a 14 year old sitting in the hallways of Royal Perth Hospital, Lisa told her mum that one day she would make a place where kids with scoliosis could come, be cared about, receive world class treatment, and be managed holistically: Perth Scoliosis Clinic is this result of this passion and is a dream now realised.
Outside of work Lisa has two beautiful girls, Ada (born in 2017) and Vea (born in 2019) who often bring lots of laughs and cheekiness to the clinic when they visit.
